AI story bible · Built from your plan
Give AI the facts.
Keep the creative
decisions.
Storiis turns your characters, world, scenes, timeline, and creative rules into a living story bible that Claude, ChatGPT, and compatible AI tools can consult when you choose.
You decide what belongs in the story. Storiis helps your AI find it without taking editorial control.
Relevant context found
Context comes from the plan you approved—not the AI’s best guess.
One source of truth for the whole story
What is an AI story bible?
An AI story bible is a structured record of the characters, places, events, rules, and creative intentions an AI needs to understand your story. Unlike a long prompt or static document, a Storiis story bible stays connected to the scenes and storylines it describes.
It does not ask AI to decide what your story is. It gives the AI reliable context for the work you choose to do with it.
More useful than a pile of notes
The context behind every scene.
Storiis organizes the information writers already manage and preserves the relationships between it.
Characters
Identity, motivations, relationships, knowledge, secrets, and the journey each character takes.
World & canon
Locations, objects, systems, research, canonical facts, and the constraints that cannot be broken.
Plan & continuity
Scenes, storylines, beats, chronology, setup and payoff, and what changes as the story moves.
Voice & intent
Tone, point of view, prose guidance, themes, scene goals, and the choices that make the work yours.
A story bible your AI can actually use
Stop rebuilding context in every chat.
Pasted notes are frozen the moment you paste them. Giant prompts bury the facts that matter. Old conversations drift away from the plan.
With Cloud AI Access, a compatible AI can retrieve the relevant parts of your selected, synced story when it needs them. You maintain the story in Storiis instead of maintaining a second version for every tool.
Your plan is the source. The AI is a reader.
One durable workflow
Use it with Claude or ChatGPT.
The menus and plan requirements of outside AI tools may change. The workflow does not: plan in Storiis, choose the story you want to share, connect a compatible tool, and ask it to consult the story before it responds.
CLAUDE
Bring the plan into the conversation
Ask Claude to inspect a character arc, gather the facts affecting a scene, test continuity, or draft from a scene brief grounded in your plan.
CHATGPT
Start each chat with the same story
Let ChatGPT retrieve the established cast, canon, chronology, and voice guidance instead of pasting a shortened version into every conversation.
OTHER TOOLS
Use an open connection
Cloud AI Access uses MCP, an open standard. Compatibility depends on the outside tool and plan, so current setup details live in the support guide.
Human-led by design
Using AI does not mean surrendering authorship.
Storiis is a complete planning system whether you use AI or not. Cloud AI Access is optional, selected stories are shared deliberately, and the outside connection reads rather than silently rewriting your local plan.
An outside AI can propose a change when you ask. You review the suggestion. Nothing becomes part of the story until you decide it belongs.
The boundary is clear
- You choose which stories are available.
- You decide what counts as canon.
- You review proposed revisions.
- You can disconnect or remove a story.
Common questions
AI story bible FAQ.
Does Storiis write my book?
No. Storiis helps you plan and organize the story. Its optional built-in AI tools can assist with specific planning tasks, while Cloud AI Access lets a compatible outside tool consult the story bible for work you request.
Does it work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Cloud AI Access works with outside tools that support the required MCP connection. Availability and setup can vary by provider, product, and subscription plan. The support guide carries the current connection details.
Can the AI change my story?
The connection gives outside AI tools read-only retrieval access. An AI may file a proposed revision when asked, but you must review and accept it before it changes the local plan.
Is an AI story bible useful if I do not generate prose?
Yes. You can use it to discuss structure, check continuity, trace setup and payoff, inspect character knowledge, or find established facts. Drafting prose is only one possible use.
Do I have to maintain a separate story bible?
No. The story bible is assembled from the work you already maintain in Storiis. After changing the local story, sync it when you want the outside AI to receive the updated version.
Is Cloud AI Access required?
No. Storiis works as a complete visual story-planning app without connecting an outside AI. Cloud AI Access is optional.
Build the source before you connect the tool
A better answer begins with a better plan.
Put your characters, canon, scenes, and intent in one connected system. Then decide whether—and when—an AI gets to consult it.
